  Great concept on paper (I love supporting local) but the supply is extremely unreliable. Don't fall in love with anything there, because they might stop stocking it next month. I would guess that no more than 2% of the items there are local at any given time, and "Raised in Quebec" still counts, somehow.

  Wonderful "small town' grocery store with so many local products & meats. The deli/bakery makes amazing food too!

  B&H is a country gem. Their local, grain fed meats are inexpensive and outstanding in flavour. It's one of the few stores that has a butcher who will gladly prep any cut you want. They are my go-to store for briskets and other hard-to-find cuts for smoking. At Thanksgiving and Christmas you can always find local fresh turkeys.They have house made chicken, beef and lamb pies, as well as a host of other unique items made fresh daily. If you are in the Kemptville area, I highly recommend a visit.
